Directions to A Peaceable Kingdom

A Peaceable Kingdom, your secluded B&B hide-a-way, is located in Conway, Massachusetts, a short drive from I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) and I-91 which runs north and south through the beautiful hills of western New England.

We are about an hour from Bradley International Airport just north of Hartford, Connecticut, and about 40 minutes from the Amtrak train station in Springfield, Massachusetts. Taxi or van service from/to the airport or rail station is easy to arrange.

FROM I-91 (North or South)
Take the Greenfield Exit 26. Pick up Route 2 West off the rotary toward North Adams and Williamstown.

In about 8.5 miles you will see the State Police Station on your left. Shortly thereafter, turn left at the blinking yellow light (Sweetheart Restaurant will be on your left) and follow signs into Shelburne Falls. Go through town, over the Iron Bridge, and turn left at the end of the bridge.

Bear left along the Deerfield River onto Shelburne Falls Road. Follow this road for about 4.4 miles to Thompson Road on your right.

Turn right onto Thompson and go up the hill past a white farmhouse on your left. Bear left at the fork (now a dirt road) until you come to A Peaceable Kingdom (first driveway on your left).

Take Route 9 to Route 116 toward Sunderland. After crossing the Connecticut River you will come to a light at Route 5 & 10. Turn right, pass Yankee Candle on your left, and turn left in less than a mile on Route 116 North towards Conway.

Follow this twisting and turning road until you come to the Village of Conway. The Conway Inn will be on your left. Bear right at the the sign to Shelburne Falls. You will be on Shelburne Falls Road.

From that point, go approximately 4.6 miles to Thompson Road on your left.

Turn left on Thompson and go up the hill past a white farmhouse on your left. Bear left at the fork (now a dirt road) until you come to A Peaceable Kingdom (first driveway on your left).
